The children in the third group have specific problems related to Digraphs.

Due to the lack of letters of the English alphabet, sometimes, producing new sounds should use letter combinations, which is also questionable for students.

Sounds and letters like Zh, Ph, Ch cause kids to confuse and mislead their learning process.

These kids also might have similar issues regarding silent letters, which is also visible in the fourth group.

Silent letters are written but not read like the word “knife,” where the letter “k” is not pronounced.


There is a considerable amount of these kinds of words that contain silent words and tend to be challenging for young learners.
